Holiday Accomodation

One of the things I particularly enjoy, is carrying out Fire risk assessments on Holiday cottages.
Two of my most recent projects have been in located in the Peak district - this is not to far but far enough to have felt like a break
There number things to consider when completing a Fire risk assessment for cottages, and each cottage presents its own challenge.
Many Cottages are in converted barns or older houses and don't always have the facilities afforded to more modern built holiday accommodation which can offer challenges when thinking about things like emergency lighting and fire detection, and emergency egress

I had the privilege of working with Blakelow Farm and Wild & Other - Cow Close Farm on suitable arrangements for fire protection, ensuring that they create safe environments for their guests, whilst maintaining the unique characteristics of their respective properties for them to enjoy, and achieve accreditation with the various organisations and fulfill the requirements of AirBNB and the like!
